A Delicious Summer Staple That Can Be Enjoyed All Year Round.

A perfect dessert for after a BBQ, or for entertaining guests. Make sure to pre-soak the fruit in cold water to ensure maximum taste and sweetness!

Ingredients

FOR THE SUMMER FRUIT SALAD

  • Black grapes  250g
  • Two kiwi fruit 150g
  • Strawberries 227g
  • Juice of 2 limes  30ml
  • One large orange 210g     

Cooking Method

Step 1

Wash the grapes and strawberries thoroughly. Peel the orange and the kiwi.

Step 2

Cut the end off the strawberries before chopping them into quarters. Throw them into a large bowl.

Step 3

Dice the kiwi into chunks and add to the bowl. Halve the grapes and add them too.

Step 4

Drizzle over half the lime juice. Gently toss the fruits to mix them all up.

Step 5

Place the fruit salad in the fridge for 20 minutes or until you are ready to serve.

Step 6

Serve the fruit salad into four small bowls, adding the orange chunks at the last minute. Finish with the other half of the lime juice.

This fruit salad provides a great source of vitamin C which is important for protecting our cells and helping our body to repair itself. 

It also provides a range of antioxidants which help to reduce free radicals (loose electrons) in the body.
